Well, yeah, it'd be impossible to come out of all this shit exactly the same as ever. But what else am I supposed to do? If I go home talking about this stuff, I'll get thrown in a mental health facility in no time.

Yes and no. My sister's fine, but our parents have their own idea about how things should be, and it doesn't always line up with what we actually want.
Tell that to them. They've already decided what I'm doing with my life and they didn't even ask me about it. They probably won't like that I'm not going with it.
