[ nodd runs into rosamund while moseying to the shopping concourse. he gives her a short smile and a sharp little wave when they catch eyes. then his gaze averts. ]

[rosebleed]

Nodd?

[That's strange. He's ordinarily quite social. Rosamund takes a hesitant trot after him, glancing behind them to check for privacy.]

Hey. Are you all right?

[murdergate]

Never been better.

[ staring straight ahead as he walks. not rosie, why rosie?? ]

Can't think of a thing to complain about.

[rosebleed]

...Then you wouldn't mind joining me for a cup of tea?

[Is he in a panic about something? Walking away from an embarrassing incident?

She tentatively puts a hand on his elbow, intending to lead him away.]

Come on, that new shop is so cute, I've been meaning to sit down there for a proper cup.

[murdergate]

I don't drink a whole lot of tea.

[ he relents, though, because there's no good reason to deny her. he will accept her arm, lead with a moment of poise as he falls into thought. ]

Well, they're bound to have more than one thing on the menu. And I've heard a lot about this boba stuff, wouldn't it be fun to try new things?

How have you been, by the way?

[ boba boba. fine. this is great. you know what? he can make it work. that's the power of positive thinking.

I have been in peak condition. Can't think of any way in which I may have upset anyone or--hells--embarrassed myself.

[rosebleed]

[ nodd shrugs? but then gives rosamund a weak hip bump. inclines his head. you talk. ]
