I think I just end up listening to whatever my housemates are playing. Or the radio.

Kazuki played some 'rock' for me. It was loud. Not bad, but really loud.

[ he stood on the stage right next to someone playing (it was loud) ]

Loud's... yeah. It is kinda loud. He looks like the kind of guy who would love rock, huh?

He plays guitar--[ my not-nephew, pride is not the word i'm looking for]--he's a musician. So, it makes sense.

Think he wants to go pro with it. It's a pretty tough industry to make it in, but-- he definitely seems determined.
