At least you're self-aware that way. [ that's a compliment, somehow. ] If you're that worried, don't be. There's a reason I don't bring him to trials anymore.

I'll be honest with you, kid. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to bring me to trials anymore.

You and probably everyone else on this ship, too. None of us agreed to be doing this but here we are. Doing this repeatedly week after week. And we're still no closer to figuring out how to make it stop.

We still have time. And we still have a lot of smart people on both sides of the living-dead veil. You included. We know so much more than when we started. We just keep digging.

So long as we can convince other people to keep working and not give up because we don't have all of the answers yet, we might actually get everything figured out. But everything's in pieces right now. That's the frustrating part for everybody.
